Beyond time regulation, the unit also functions as a full-featured digital clock, allowing it to remain useful outside of active speaking sessions. Switching between clock mode and timer mode is seamless and handled entirely through our WRC-8T wireless remote controller, giving council staff complete control without needing to approach the display.

The wireless remote operates at distances of up to 1,500 feet outdoors and 300 feet indoors, making it ideal for large council chambers and public meeting rooms. From the remote, users can easily set the time of day, switch between up-timer and down-timer modes, start or pause timing, reset values, or return to previously programmed countdown durations.

The DC-25UTW-DS supports both count-up and countdown timing, displaying up to 99 hours, 59 minutes, and 59 seconds with precision down to hundredths of a second. Our shift-digit technology automatically adjusts the display format for optimal readability as time progresses, ensuring the most relevant information is always visible.

Hardware Designed for Public Environments

Built for durability and daily use, the DC-25UTW-DS features a black powder-coated aluminum enclosure that is both fingerprint- and dust-resistant. The unit is double-sided, displaying identical information on both faces so the time or countdown is visible from multiple angles in the room.

An integrated audible alert system enhances functionality during meetings. The adjustable piezo alarm provides confirmation tones for remote button presses and mode changes, while the end-of-period buzzer automatically sounds for three seconds when a countdown reaches zero—clearly signaling that a speaker’s time has concluded. For quieter sessions, the audible alerts can be adjusted or turned off entirely.

To protect surfaces and the enclosure itself, the unit includes adhesive bottom tabs, preventing scratches or marks when placed on desks, podiums, or tables. Powering the display is simple and reliable, requiring only a standard 120V AC to low-voltage wall adapter.
