Agrimech has reached out to DC-digital for their Special Event Countdown Timers. This custom-built DC-159T-DN countdown timer is designed for high-visibility outdoor applications where durability, readability, and ease of control are essential. Engineered with large 15-inch LED digits, this unit clearly displays days, hours, minutes, and seconds, making it ideal for long-duration countdowns in environments such as construction sites, public events, industrial operations, or outdoor facilities. The LEDs are mounted to protrude through the front face, allowing for a wide viewing angle while remaining protected against the elements.

Built for fully outdoor use, the enclosure is constructed from aluminum and paired with stainless steel hardware to ensure long-term resistance to rust and corrosion. The entire unit is weatherproof and ready to be mounted in harsh conditions. A sealed puck-style antenna is positioned on top of the enclosure, enabling reliable wireless communication without compromising the unit’s environmental protection.

This model features wireless RF control, eliminating the need for direct line-of-sight operation. The included handheld controller offers simple, intuitive functionality with the flexibility to operate from a distance—up to 500 feet outdoors and approximately 300 feet indoors. Powered by a standard 9-volt battery, the controller includes a convenient belt clip for portability and ease of access.

The timer is equipped with a built-in rechargeable battery backup system. Upon installation, users simply connect the included rechargeable AA batteries, which will automatically recharge through the unit’s internal power supply. This ensures continued operation in the event of temporary power interruptions.

Installation is streamlined with 120VAC pigtail connections housed within a weatherproof box, allowing for conduit entry from either the top or bottom. Mounting rails are included to support secure placement in a variety of outdoor settings.

Once the desired countdown is set, pressing the start/stop button begins the timer.
