Norfolk Southern’s Conway Locomotive Shop has recently purchased a Days Without An Accident Timer. This timer features sections counting up for days, hours, minutes and seconds. It will count up to 9,999 days. The display is Norfolk Southern’s own design that we put in front of our digits. The timer is 3 feet tall and 4 feet wide with a visibility range of 200 feet. Not only do these timers allow industries to keep track of their injury reports, but it also is a way of motivating employees to be safer and to remind them of the good job they are doing. In keeping an employee motivated and happy, more production comes too! These custom designs can be used for other things too such as counting down to certain events or keeping track of production.
