Double-Sided Display for Meeting Rooms

The DC-25UTW-DS features a 2-sided redundant LED display with bright red, bar-type 7-segment LEDs. The actual digit height is 2.3 inches, providing clear visibility from distances of approximately 120 feet under suitable viewing conditions.

With the display positioned in the center of a conference or meeting table, participants can see the time information regardless of which direction they are facing. Both sides display the same selected operating mode, eliminating the need for multiple timers or separate displays positioned around the room.

The aluminum enclosure is finished with a tough, fingerprint-resistant black powder coating. Measuring approximately 9-3/4 inches wide by 4-3/4 inches tall by 3 inches deep, the compact unit is designed for desktop use and includes rubber feet for stable placement on a meeting table.

Multiple Timekeeping Modes

• Count-Up Timer: Counts elapsed time up to 99 hours, with timing resolution down to hundredths of a second.
• Countdown Timer: Counts down from a programmed value of up to 99 hours, with resolution down to hundredths of a second.
• Time-of-Day Clock: Displays the current time in a 12-hour format.

This combination gives meeting organizers flexibility in how they manage meeting schedules. A countdown can be used when a meeting or agenda item has a defined time limit, while the count-up function can be used to monitor elapsed discussion time. The time-of-day mode allows the same display to serve as a regular clock when a timer is not being used.

Wireless Control from the Meeting Room

The DC-25UTW-DS is operated using an RF wireless remote control, allowing meeting personnel to control the timer without needing to physically reach across the table or interact directly with the display.

The included wireless control system uses LoRa radio frequency technology in the 902–928 MHz range. The included WRC-8T remote provides a long operating range of more than 1,500 feet outdoors and more than 300 feet indoors, depending on the surrounding environment.

The remote provides access to the timer’s primary operating controls, including:

• Clock/Timer selection
• Count Up/Down selection
• Start/Stop
• Reset to Last Value
• Reset to Zero

• Set Seconds

This allows the meeting facilitator to select the appropriate timing mode, program the desired duration, start or stop timing, and reset the display as needed without moving the display itself.

Adjustable Audible Alert

The DC-25UTW-DS also incorporates a fully adjustable piezo buzzer that can provide an audible indication when timing events occur. A silencing switch allows the audible function to be disabled when a quieter meeting environment is preferred.

This gives meeting organizers the option of using both visual and audible indications or relying solely on the bright LED display when an audible alert would be disruptive.

Built for Simple Tabletop Operation

For Anne Arundel City Council’s meeting room application, the tabletop configuration provides a straightforward solution without requiring permanent wall mounting. The rubber feet allow the display to sit securely on a conference table while keeping the two-sided display visible to participants on both sides.

The PS-12-700 power adapter operates from 120–240 VAC and includes a 6-foot cord, providing flexibility for positioning the timer on a conference or meeting table.
