Days Without Incident Timer

The primary function of the DC-10TZ-6 is its Days Without Incident display. The three-digit Days Without Incident section can display up to 999 days. A separate six-digit display provides the corresponding hours, minutes, and seconds, allowing the system to provide more detailed information than a simple day counter.

The incident timer can be configured through the web-based interface. Authorized users can enter the appropriate incident time and start the timer remotely. The system also provides controls for stopping and resetting the timer when required.

This functionality allows the display to be used for ongoing safety tracking where the amount of time since the last incident needs to remain highly visible.

The web interface provides a central location for viewing and configuring important system information. The homepage displays the model number, serial number, NTP server information, and network settings, giving users a convenient overview of the system’s configuration.

Network settings can be configured for either DHCP or a static IP address. A device name can also be assigned to make the unit easier to identify within a network.

The network configuration area is password protected to help prevent unauthorized changes to system settings.

NTP Time Synchronization

Accurate time-of-day information is an important part of the DC-10TZ-6 system. The clock can synchronize with an NTP server to maintain accurate time across its six time zone displays.

Up to three NTP server addresses can be stored in the system. The primary server is used first, with the system able to fall back to the second and third server addresses if the previous server is unavailable.

The system can also be configured for its desired update interval and time format. This provides flexibility when integrating the DC-10TZ-6 into different network environments.

NTP synchronization helps ensure that the time displayed by the system remains accurate without requiring regular manual adjustment.

Primary and Secondary Display Configuration

The DC-10TZ-6 can be incorporated into a larger display system consisting of a primary unit and secondary units. The primary display can distribute information to connected displays, helping keep the system synchronized.

Up to 12 IP addresses can be saved for displays or network destinations that should receive information from the primary unit. Password-Protected Controls

Multiple areas of the DC-10TZ-6 web interface can be protected using separate authentication settings. Network configuration, incident controls, and time zone configuration can each be protected to help limit access to authorized users.

The incident settings are especially important because they control the information displayed by the Days Without Incident timer. Authorized users can configure the incident time, Last Update, and Next Update information while maintaining control over who can make changes.

The DC-10TZ-6 uses a black powder-coated extruded enclosure rated IP66. The enclosure is designed to provide protection for the electronic display system in demanding environments.

The display uses one-inch LED digits with a viewing distance of approximately 25 feet. The different sections of the display are configured for their intended functions, including the six time zone displays, Days Without Incident timer, hours/minutes/seconds timer, and Last Update and Next Update displays.

Custom vinyl labels can also be incorporated to identify individual locations or time zones. This provides a straightforward way to associate each displayed time with its corresponding location.
