The operation of this timer is straightforward. Users set the desired countdown time using the BCD rotary switches located on top of the enclosure. These switches allow precise adjustment for both minutes and seconds, accommodating times up to 99 minutes and 59 seconds. Once the time is set, pressing the 3-actuation palm switch starts the countdown. As the timer reaches zero, the integrated Andon light begins flashing yellow, and the End-of-Period (EOP) buzzer sounds, alerting staff that the medical supplies need to be placed back into refrigeration. The buzzer’s volume is fully adjustable, ensuring it can be heard in various facility environments.
