Introducing the DC-25T-DN-BCD-EOP Countdown Timer, a robust and reliable solution designed to help healthcare facilities regulate how long medicines can remain out of refrigeration before needing to be returned. This innovative countdown timer combines precision, durability, and user-friendly controls to ensure medical supplies are safely monitored at all times.

The operation of this timer is straightforward. Users set the desired countdown time using the BCD rotary switches located on top of the enclosure. These switches allow precise adjustment for both minutes and seconds, accommodating times up to 99 minutes and 59 seconds. Once the time is set, pressing the 3-actuation palm switch starts the countdown. As the timer reaches zero, the integrated Andon light begins flashing yellow, and the End-of-Period (EOP) buzzer sounds, alerting staff that the medical supplies need to be placed back into refrigeration. The buzzer’s volume is fully adjustable, ensuring it can be heard in various facility environments. Pressing the palm switch again will stop the buzzer and reset the timer to the previously set time.

A closer look at the hardware reveals the thoughtful design and construction behind this timer. The enclosure is made from 14-gauge aluminum with a black powder-coated finish, making it both dust- and fingerprint-resistant. It measures 9 inches wide, 4 inches tall, and 3 inches deep, housing a 2.3-inch, super-bright red LED display that is easily readable from up to 120 feet away.

  • Heavy-duty Momentary Switch: 4mm palm switch with a 25-foot cable connected to the terminal inside the enclosure.
