Quest Service Labs selected a DC-Digital six-digit LED counter for applications requiring flexible control, clear visibility, and reliable counting performance. The dual-controlled unit combines wired and wireless operation, giving operators multiple ways to manage the displayed count.

The six-inch red LED digits provide visibility from distances of up to 300 feet, making the counter well suited for industrial, laboratory, manufacturing, and other work environments where the displayed value needs to be easily seen. The six-digit display can count up to 999999 by ones, providing a broad counting range for a variety of applications.

Flexible Wired and Wireless Control

One of the key features of the counter ordered by Quest Service Labs is its dual-control capability. The wired input can be connected to a PLC, relay, momentary contact closure, or a 5–30 VDC pulse/PNP source pulse. Separate control inputs allow the counter to increment, decrement, or reset the displayed value to zero.

The wireless control provides additional flexibility for operators who need to manage the counter from a distance. The wireless remote can establish a predetermined starting value and can also increment, decrement, or reset the counter as needed.

This combination of wired automation and wireless operator control makes the counter adaptable to both equipment-driven and manual counting processes.

Six-Inch LED Display for Long-Distance Visibility

The counter features six individual seven-segment red LED digits with a 110° x 40° viewing angle. The sunlight-resistant 621nm LEDs are adjusted for indoor brilliance while providing a bright, easy-to-read display.

With six-inch digits and a rated viewing distance of up to 300 feet, the display can provide clear count information across larger work areas without requiring operators to remain directly beside the equipment.

Durable Aluminum Enclosure

The display is housed in a tough, extruded aluminum enclosure with a fingerprint-resistant black powder-coated finish. The enclosure measures approximately 23-3/8 inches wide, 7-3/4 inches tall, and 3-1/4 inches deep.

For installation, the unit includes slotted tear-drop mounting tabs. The Quest Service Labs unit also incorporates eye-hooks for free-hanging installation, allowing the counter to be suspended in a location where it can be easily viewed from multiple positions.
