Unlike traditional synchronized clock systems that rely on expensive centralized master clocks and proprietary wiring, the DC-40N-POE-Flush-Stainless utilizes existing Ethernet network infrastructure. Each clock receives both power and precise time synchronization through a single Power over Ethernet (PoE) connection, eliminating the need for additional power wiring while significantly reducing installation costs.
The clocks synchronize automatically to an NTP (Network Time Protocol) server, providing atomic-accurate time throughout the facility. Whether configured using DHCP or Static IP addressing, installation is straightforward thanks to the plug-and-play design. Upon startup, the clock automatically reveals its IP address, allowing maintenance personnel to quickly locate and configure each unit through its built-in browser-based web interface.

The clock meets NEMA 4, NEMA 4X, NEMA 12, and NEMA 13 requirements, making it an excellent choice for pharmaceutical manufacturing, clean rooms, food processing facilities, laboratories, washdown areas, and other locations where corrosion resistance and sanitation are critical.
The standard model features bright 4-inch LED digits that can be read from up to 200 feet away with a wide viewing angle, ensuring employees can quickly reference the correct time from virtually anywhere on the production floor. Larger digit sizes ranging from 1 inch to an impressive 30 inches are also available to accommodate virtually any viewing distance or facility size.
Customization options allow the clock to be tailored to specific applications. Customers can choose red or green LED displays, multiple gasket materials including XLPE, food-grade PE, EPDM, and PTFE, several mounting configurations, and warranty options ranging from one year to lifetime coverage.
Because the system operates over a standard Ethernet network, expansion is simple.
