Unlike traditional clock systems that simply display time, the DC-40-WR-System-NEMA integrates both a secondary clock and a relay controller into one enclosure. This allows equipment located at the clock installation point to be activated automatically according to a programmed schedule.

The integrated solid-state relay is rated for 120 VAC loads up to 10 amps and can be used to control:

Advanced Wireless Store-and-Forward Technology

One of the most unique aspects of the Land O’Frost installation is the use of our wireless Store-and-Forward communication technology.

Traditional wireless systems often depend on direct communication between a central controller and each remote device. As facilities become larger, maintaining reliable wireless coverage can become challenging.

Store-and-Forward technology solves this problem.

Whenever a wireless clock receives scheduling and timing information from the system controller, it stores the data and retransmits it to additional clocks within range. As long as another wireless clock is positioned between devices, the signal can continue propagating throughout the facility.

With wireless communication ranges typically extending from approximately 300 to 1,500 feet depending on the environment, each clock effectively becomes a repeater. This creates what can be considered an infinite wireless link, allowing the system to expand across very large facilities without requiring extensive infrastructure or additional repeaters.
