When it comes to specialized timing solutions in the food industry, reliability, washability, and precision are essential. That’s exactly what our custom-built DC-25T-DN-BCD-NEMA delivers. Designed in collaboration with JBS Foods, this custom order highlights how DC-Digital adapts our timers to meet unique operational and sanitation requirements.

This model is equipped with BCD rotary set switches that can be remotely connected and securely housed in a lockable, latched NEMA watertight enclosure. Operators can easily set times up to 99 minutes and 59 seconds, and in this build, the switches are configured for 20 seconds. For ease of use, we mounted the Start/Stop and Reset to Last Value switches right on the front of the enclosure, ensuring that employees can quickly manage cycles during daily operation.

The DC-25T-DN-BCD-NEMA also features:

  • NEMA watertight, washable enclosures for both the timer display and remote controls.
  • 25 feet of Aqua-Seal watertight control cabling, connecting Start, Stop, Reset, and the BCD rotary set switches.
  • A one-second relay “ON” output at the end of each timing cycle, with terminal block and cable gland included.
  • A large 2.3-inch LED digital display, bright and readable from up to 120 feet away.
  • Easy-to-install terminal blocks with watertight cable gland entry for secure integration.

Sanitation is one of the top priorities in food processing environments. Because of this, both the timer and the remote control system were designed for washability and durability. The enclosures meet NEMA 4X, 6, 6P, 12, 12K, 13, and IP-66 approvals, ensuring long-term protection against water, dust, and frequent cleaning routines required in food plants.

Another unique aspect of this order is the separation of remote controls from the timer itself. By isolating the BCD rotary set switches and the Start/Stop/Reset functions into a secure NEMA-rated case, operators gain flexibility while maintaining safety and sanitation standards.

This project with JBS Foods shows how DC-Digital custom solutions go beyond standard timers, providing rugged, watertight, and fully adaptable systems for industries where both accuracy and hygiene are critical.
