DC-Digital is known for collaborating with a large number of companies to make custom products designed for specific purposes. In this case, DC-Digital has been working with a brand manufacturing corporation by the name of Foxmark to create something special for colleges who have students in the NFL. Today we’re introducing our new custom-built DC-809-Static-Key-W, a static numbers display designed to help our client showcase the number of students who went on to participate in NFL football teams. This product highlights four different categories of student athletes and provides a clear, reliable way to display those numbers for public viewing.

The unit is designed with both functionality and ease of use in mind. Its purpose is straightforward: to promote how many college students have been part of football leagues by presenting the numbers in bold, easy-to-read LED digits.

How It Works

The DC-809-Static-Key-W is operated using a custom wireless keypad, giving users direct control of each of the four displays. Each section can be independently addressed and updated to show the latest statistics.

• Each of the four displays is assigned to a specific button on the keypad.
• When a display is selected, it enters set mode—indicated by a blinking digit—allowing numbers to be input.
• Once a number is entered and confirmed, it immediately appears on the display.
• Displays can also be blanked when not in use and restored at any time.
• Input validation ensures the correct number of digits are entered for each configured display (ranging from 1 to 4 digits).
• Multiple displays can be updated quickly in sequence, making the system efficient for live updates.

This control system ensures flexibility, whether showcasing a single statistic or updating all four categories at once.

Hardware Overview

The DC-809-Static-Key-W has been engineered for durability and professional presentation.

• Enclosure: Milled aluminum finish, giving the unit both strength and a clean look.
• Dimensions: 115 inches wide, 16 inches tall, and 3.25 inches deep.
• Digit Size: 8-inch tall LEDs for maximum visibility.
• Digit Capacity: A total of 9 digits across the system, each capable of displaying static numbers 0–9 without colons.
• Power: Standard three-prong grounded cord, 120–240 VAC, with a 6-foot cable for flexible installation.
• Accessories: Custom wireless keypad with four dedicated control sections.

Each section of the display features non-volatile memory, meaning that even if power is lost, the unit will restore the last entered numbers as soon as power returns. This ensures consistency and reliability for permanent or long-term displays.
