The DC-40T-DN-UP-STATIC is a large, multi-function timer and display unit that can be controlled via RS-232 and/or RS-485 serial data connections. Using the free, downloadable termite terminal program (no third-party software required), or any programmable device that can output ASCII, 8N1, at 9600 baud, RS-232 or RS-485, then users can easily configure the unit to display a variety of functions, such as an up/down timer, time of day (in 12- or 24-hour format), or a static 9999 display. The unit features a 4-inch, red LED display that is visible up to 200 feet away, ensuring readability in large spaces. With a two-letter addressing protocol, it allows up to 676 displays to be controlled from a single COM port, supporting up to 26 groups of 26 displays each. The durable, black powder-coated aluminum casing is both fingerprint and dust-resistant, providing a long-lasting solution for industrial or commercial applications.

– Connects to any device that will output RS-232 or RS-485 and can generate DC-Digital protocol (also see product more info page for protocol)

– Client connects display to RS-485 serial data output device. (this one will be connected to Delta DVP-12SE, using DVP-16SSR extension, PLC, ). Any computer terminal program or RS-485 data transmitting device.

– 4 inch, red LEDs that displays the timer (up/ down), time of day (12-24 hour format) and and static display (9999). Can be viewed up to 200 feet away.

– RS-232 and/or RS-485 serial data input control. A two letter addressing protocol allows 676 displays to be controlled from one com port. Up to 26 groups each with up to 26 displays in each group.

– Extruded, aluminum, black powder coated casing that is fingerprint and dust resistant.
