This custom configuration is designed for environments that demand real-time visual monitoring, hands-free activation, and flexible control inputs.

At its core, the DC-25T-UP-TERM is a digital count-up timer enhanced with an ANDON indicator light and a diffusive reflective proximity sensor. Together, these components work seamlessly to detect objects and measure elapsed time with visual feedback.

Core Functionality Overview:

The system operates through proximity detection. The moment an object passes in front of the sensor:

  • The timer starts counting up automatically.
  • The ANDON light activates to indicate that the timer is running.
  • Once the object leaves the sensor’s range, the timer pauses, retaining the time on display.
  • When the object re-enters the sensor’s range, the timer resumes counting from where it left off.
  • When the timer is no longer active, the ANDON light automatically shuts off.

This design allows for completely hands-free time monitoring, ideal for production lines, workstation timing, or process auditing.

Adjustability and Visual Indicators:

  • The diffusive reflective sensor is adjustable up to 10 meters, offering versatility across varying industrial layouts.

  • Zero Reset Functionality: A built-in push-button reset clears the timer—but only when no object is present in front of the sensor, preventing accidental resets mid-process.
  • Time Display Format:
    • Initial timing begins with hundredths and tenths of a second.
    • Upon reaching one minute, the format automatically shifts to a colon display for minutes and hours.
    • The maximum timing capacity is 99 hours.

The DC-25T-UP-TERM is housed in a 16-gauge all-aluminum vented enclosure, designed for durability and adaptability:

  • Compatible with four-square or handy box mounting
  • Includes three knockouts for wire routing—two on the sides and one in the back
  • Runs on 24V DC, with options to power via a 6-foot coaxial plug or customer-supplied 24V input via clearly labeled terminal blocks
  • Equipped with a three-input control board, accepting:
    • Contact closure
    • PNP signals
    • 5 to 30V DC inputs
