The system combines EZ-Time Master Clock and Bell Schedule software with DC-Digital secondary clocks featuring custom firmware and integrated relay functionality. Each secondary clock can be individually addressed through the software, allowing different clocks to follow specific shift schedules.

When a scheduled break or lunch begins, the system activates a bell through the integrated relay and the associated clock switches from time-of-day operation to a countdown display. Employees can see the remaining break or lunch time at a glance. When the countdown reaches its scheduled endpoint, the bell sounds again and the clock returns to displaying the current time.
