This unit serves as a crucial safety tool for loading docks, specifically designed to alert workers when a garage door is closing. Using BCD rotary switches, workers can easily set the countdown timer to match the expected closing time of the garage door. This timer integrates seamlessly with the loading dock environment, utilizing three close contact PNP wire functions (Start/Stop, Reset, and Reset and Start) housed in a junction box for convenient operation. Its prominent 8-inch LED digits ensure visibility from up to 400 feet away, guaranteeing that workers are promptly informed of the remaining time before the door closes. Upon reaching zero, a robust piezo alarm sounds loudly (75-90 dB) for three seconds, ensuring that workers are alerted to the door’s imminent closure, promoting safety and efficiency in the workplace.
