At DC-Digital, we specialize in designing and building custom timing and display solutions to meet the unique needs of our customers. Our latest custom order, the DC-60T-UP-TERM-BAY-TIMER Vehicle Service Center Timer Network System, was developed in collaboration with Smart Toyota to improve efficiency, visibility, and accountability in automotive service operations.
This system is designed with eight service bays, each equipped with its own dedicated timer. The timers not only track service duration but also feed real-time data into a network server, where results can be displayed on a web page accessible from anywhere in the world.
How It Works
Each vehicle bay is connected to a DC-60T-UP display with a network card that provides both local visibility and global data access. The system operates through simple pneumatic switches: when a vehicle rolls over the first air hose, the timer resets and starts; when it rolls over the second hose at the end of service, the timer stops and the data is automatically logged.
The recorded service times are immediately stored and viewable online, giving supervisors, technicians, and even customers a clear picture of service duration. Each bay logs the last ten service times, and the system automatically averages results for the day. At midnight, timers reset to begin fresh tracking for the next business day.
Key Features

- Web-based monitoring – track individual bay performance or all bays combined from anywhere worldwide.
- Large LED displays – six-inch high digits with wide 110° viewing angle, visible up to 300 feet.
- Automatic time logging – last 10 service times recorded and averaged per bay.
- Network integration – each timer serves its own web page while the server aggregates data for all bays.
- User-friendly setup – connect to your NTP server for accurate time synchronization and choose DHCP or static IP configuration.
Benefits for Every User
