As of August 2020, all Time Zone Clocks will follow a new design.

The DC-40TZ-5 is the first in our selection of world time zone clocks to receive a newly updated program. This new program changes some setting features of the clock but is overall very similar to how our previous model functions. The new setting methods will be standard in all of our world time zone models that do not have programmable captions as of August 2020.
Many of our time zone clocks are used at military bases around the world that use our old program. This post will go over the similarities and differences between our old and new programs to help with any transition that our customers may face.
What’s The Same
The location of the settings has not changed. The 12/24 hour mode setting and minutes for all clock displays is still located above the leftmost clock display. There is an hour offset button above each clock display that changes the hours for only that clock display. All displays that are not the leftmost display can still change their own minute offset by holding down the hour offset button for 3 seconds in order to trigger the minute offset cycle.
The size of the cases for our world time zone clocks will remain the same as will the size of the vinyl lettering. You will still need to indicate what you wish for the captions above each clock to read when you place your order.
What’s New
The flip switch for the 12/24 hour mode has been replaced with a push button that toggles between the two modes each time the button is pressed. There is an optional AM indicator light for each display, but this setting is set during programming and cannot be changed without reprogramming the board. Please let us know whether you would like this indicator on or off when you place your order.
The minute setting above the leftmost display now sets minutes by both ones and tens for all displays. Previously this would set the minutes by tens and ones for only the leftmost display and by ones for all other displays in the time zone. This new minute setting method makes setting all other time zones easier for time zones that are offset by whole hours.
The minute offset cycle for each clock that is not the leftmost will now increment the minute offset by 15 minutes as opposed to the previous 10 minute offset cycle. Hold down the hour offset button above any clock display other than the leftmost for three seconds to enter the minute offset mode. This will cycle through 15 minute increment offsets of the current time displayed but will not affect the hours on the clock display. Release the hour button when you have reached the proper minute offset increment.
