Do you ever wonder what would happen if the United States Military lost track of time? Well, you don’t have to worry about that because thanks to DC-Digital, that will never happen. We have manufactured many clocks, timers, counters, and time zone clocks for different branches of the United States Military. But, I am not going to talk about that today. Today, I am going to talk about Fort Meade and their unique DC-80UTW-BTC. Some of you may have heard about Fort Meade because they hosted the 2009 Army vs. Navy football game.
Fort Meade called on DC-Digital because they wanted several units that could have multiple functions such as count up, count down, and time of day. For tasks such as running, they would need an elapsed time timer, which is count up mode. For station work, they wanted to be able to set the timer to 15 minutes, or any other time they needed to count down from, and have the clock count down from that point. They also needed to have a regular time of day mode. All functions of their unique DC-80 are programmed to a wireless remote. The DC-80UTW-BTC is view able by approximately 400 feet, which is more than a football field or 2 city blocks. If you are in search of a similar clock or even another type of clock, please visit our website to see what DC-Digital can do for you and/or your business.
