The DC-106N-T-UP is a custom-engineered elapsed time solution designed specifically for applications that require precise second-by-second tracking with reliable network communication. Built as a count-up timer, this unit focuses exclusively on recording elapsed seconds and delivering accurate timestamps both locally and over a network. Whether used in a testing lab, production environment, or data-driven operation, the DC-106N-T-UP provides a straightforward yet powerful way to capture and communicate time-based events in real time.

Sandia Natl. Labs ordered this special network controlled seconds only timer that will input as well as output code via the Network TCIP/UDP protocol. Input code can be set up to be sent to any IP address and does include milliseconds, EX: 000000.0, and received by MySQL or PHP. It also has redundant start, stop, reset to zero, and print push-buttons on the front panel. The web page is hosted on the internal network card and can be accessed from any computer, cell phone, or tablet using its IP address. The web page can also be customized for virtually any application across compatible displays.

At its core, this model features a six-digit, one-inch display that clearly shows elapsed seconds, making it easy for operators to monitor timing at a glance. The system is controlled through four environmentally sealed front-panel push buttons, giving users dependable local control in a variety of environments. These buttons allow users to start, stop, reset to zero, and print the current time instantly, ensuring that critical timing data can be captured exactly when needed.
Beyond local operation, the DC-106N-T-UP is designed for seamless network integration. Using a standard Ethernet RJ-45 connection, the unit can transmit time data over UDP or TCP to a designated system. This allows the timer to interface directly with third-party software or custom-built programs, enabling automated data logging, synchronized testing processes, and real-time communication with other equipment. The device hosts its own internal web interface, making setup simple and efficient through browser-based configuration.
Key functional highlights include:
- Seconds-only count-up operation for precise elapsed time tracking
- Six-digit display with clear one-inch numerals
- Four sealed push buttons for Start, Stop, Reset, and Print
- Real-time timestamp output triggered manually or electronically
- Ethernet connectivity supporting UDP and TCP communication
- Browser-based configuration via onboard web interface
- Integration with MySQL, PHP, or custom software environments
- Redundant control system for both local and remote operation
The DC-106N-T-UP is powered by a versatile wall adapter compatible with 12V, 120V, or 240V, making it adaptable to a wide range of installations. By combining simple front-panel operation with advanced network capabilities, this timer ensures every second is captured, recorded, and communicated exactly when and where it’s needed.
