This custom unit for Jr Automations leverages Power over Ethernet (POE) technology and an embedded web interface, allowing users to control the display entirely through a network connection without the need for third-party software.

At the core of this unit is its built-in web page, hosted directly by the device. By accessing the unit’s IP address through a standard web browser, users can enter simple command strings that instantly change the display’s behavior. These commands allow the display to function as a time-of-day clock, an up-timer, a down-timer, or a static number display, making it adaptable to a wide range of operational needs.

The timer functionality supports both count-up and count-down modes, with a maximum range of 99 minutes and 59 seconds. This makes the unit especially useful in industrial and production environments where visibility of elapsed or remaining time is critical. Operators can track how long a task has been running, enforce cycle-time limits, or clearly display remaining time during a countdown process. When not being used as a timer, the display can show the current time of day in either 12-hour or 24-hour format, providing clear and readable time synchronization across a workspace.

In addition to timing and clock modes, the static number function allows the display to show fixed numeric values indefinitely. This is ideal for presenting reference numbers, quantities, pricing, identifiers, or other constant values that need to remain visible without incrementing or decrementing. Static numbers can be displayed with no separators, with a colon, or with a decimal point depending on the command entered through the web interface.

Housed in a rugged black powder-coated aluminum enclosure, the DC-60N-POE-T-DN-UP-Static-Indoor model is built for durability in indoor environments. The finish is resistant to fingerprints and dust, maintaining a clean appearance in industrial, commercial, or technical spaces. The six-inch display provides excellent visibility at distances of up to 300 feet, ensuring that timing and numeric information can be read clearly across large rooms or factory floors.
