Developed specifically for clients such as RFK JR Inc., who requested a reliable solution to regulate the flow of public meetings at venues like the St. Cecilia Music Center, this model combines robust hardware with intuitive operation.

At its core, the DC-40UTW-WR is a multi-function clock. This means it not only displays the time of day in a clear 12-hour format but also doubles as both a countdown and count-up timer. Its seamless switching between modes is made possible through our Wired Remote Controller (WRC-8T), which is directly connected to the board inside the enclosure.

Key Features and Functions

The DC-40UTW-WR excels in flexibility and precision, offering features that cater to both everyday use and specialized timing needs:

  • Time of Day Function:
    The clock allows users to set hours and minutes quickly via the wired remote. Simply press the “Set Hours” or “Set Minutes” buttons to increment values until the desired time is displayed. The process is intuitive and ensures accurate adjustments without requiring complex programming.
  • Up Timer Mode:
    Switch to timer mode to count up from zero using the start/stop function. The timer can run up to 99 hours and 59 minutes, with increments down to hundredths of a second. To reset, simply press the “Zero” button, ensuring a fresh start for every session.
  • Countdown Timer Mode:
    Switching between counting up and down is simple—press the “Up/Down” button while in timer mode. Users can set hours, minutes, and even seconds, providing flexibility for precise countdown requirements. Once activated, the timer can continue counting down while simultaneously displaying the time of day, allowing for real-time tracking during ongoing events.
  • Last Value Reset:
    An especially practical feature for repeated tasks, the “Last Value” button resets the timer to its previous setting, eliminating the need to manually re-enter frequently used durations.

  • High-Visibility Display: 4-inch LED digits offer bright, easy-to-read output that can be seen from up to 200 feet away.
  • Power and Mounting: Operates on 120–240 VAC with a 6-foot power cord. Mounting is supported via 4×4 or 2×4 slotted teardrop electrical rough knockout drops, making installation straightforward.
  • Wired Remote Controller (WRC-8T): 25-foot, 22-gauge conductor wire provides direct, reliable connection to the board, offering complete control over start/stop, reset, last value, and time adjustments.
