Today, we’re showcasing our new DC-150-TEMP, a reliable and highly visible temperature display designed for use alongside our GPS time-only clock. ADP has reached out to DC-Digital for the goal of manufacturing a simple setup to provide a clear, accurate display of both temperature and time within the same room. The GPS clock keeps everyone synchronized with precise time of day, while the DC-150-TEMP provides a real-time temperature reading of the surrounding area.

Core Functionality

The DC-150-TEMP continuously monitors the ambient temperature and presents it in large, bright digits for easy visibility. It can be set to display either Fahrenheit or Celsius, giving users flexibility depending on their preference or regional standards.

Switching between the two is straightforward:

• Access the temperature sensor housing.
• Twist the housing open to reveal the temperature probe dip switch set.
• Use the six-position switch panel to toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius.
  • Switch 5 ON → Fahrenheit mode
  • Switch 6 ON → Celsius mode
• Once adjusted, the display will automatically update within a few seconds.

For example, if the display is currently showing 77°F, switching to Celsius mode updates it to 25°C. Returning to Fahrenheit is just as simple—flip the switches back, and the reading updates instantly.

Hardware & Display Features

The DC-150-TEMP is built for durability and visibility, making it suitable for both indoor and demanding environments.

• Enclosure: Aluminum with IP66-rated black powder coating for protection against dust and moisture.
• Display Size: 15-inch digits, viewable from up to 700 feet away.
• Digit Configuration: Four-digit layout
  • First three digits: numbers 0–9 for temperature readings
  • Fourth digit: dedicated degree symbol (°)
• Power: 9-foot, three-prong power cord with 120–240 VAC input, plus junction box and additional cabling.
• Mounting: Dual C-channel mounting rails on the back, enabling secure installation on sturdy surfaces such as concrete walls.

Accessories

To ensure accurate readings, the DC-150-TEMP comes with the DC-TEM1 outdoor temperature sensor housed in protective casing. The sensor is supplied with either 10 ft or 25 ft of cabling, giving flexibility in placement.
