Today, we’re excited to showcase our latest upgrade to the UTW series: an updated version of the DC-UTW-KEY models that now includes a fully integrated date setting capability.

This new model builds directly on the proven reliability of our original UTW series by adding the ability to display the date, in addition to its existing time of day and count up/down timer functions. It’s the perfect all-in-one solution for facilities that need precise, easy-to-read, and fully programmable displays.

Key Features of the Updated DC-UTW Model:

• Date Display Functionality: Now users can manually set and display dates in MM/DD/YY format.
• Enhanced Programming Options: Through the keypad interface, users can easily program:
  • Date and time
  • Up timers
  • Down timers
• Automatic Daylight Saving Adjustment: The system adjusts time based on the set date, helping eliminate manual resets twice a year.
• Multiple Control Interfaces:
  • DC-UTW-24KEY-B (new keypad controller) enables full control including date settings.
  • WRC-8T wireless remote offers simplified timer control from long distances (up to 1500 ft outdoors).

The process for setting the date is simple. Using the new DC-UTW-24KEY-B keypad, press the “Set Date” button, input your desired date (e.g., 03/09/25), and confirm it into memory. Time can be set using six-digit input (HHMMSS), and the unit will adjust automatically for daylight saving if applicable. This is especially useful for time-sensitive environments where seasonal changes affect scheduling or operations.

Timer & Time of Day Functions:

• The unit supports full legacy functionality from previous UTW models.
• Time of Day can be displayed in 12 or 24-hour format.
• Timers allow for:
  • Count Up from 00:00 to 99:59
  • Count Down from 99:59 to 00:00
• With the remote (WRC-8T), you can:
  • Start/stop timers
  • Set countdown/up durations
  • Recall last timer value
  • Reset seconds for clean starts
