Count Up timer

When every second counts, fire crews need a visual cue that’s as tough and reliable as they are. Our new DC‑25T‑UP‑TERM custom timer delivers exactly that. Designed specifically for station bays, the unit starts counting the moment the alarm circuit closes and guides firefighters through the critical first four minutes of turnout. Two models are available: one housed in a rugged NEMA 4X fiberglass enclosure for harsh or wet environments, and one in our signature all‑aluminum enclosure for standard indoor mounting.

Once triggered by a single 5‑to‑30 V DC pulse (only one 12 V line is needed), the bright red LED display begins a clear upward count. At the two‑minute mark the display switches to a high‑visibility flash, pushing crews to hustle. If the bay doors aren’t rolling by four minutes, the timer automatically resets to zero, standing ready for the next call with no extra inputs or manual resets required.

  • Key workflow features
    • Single dry‑contact or voltage pulse starts the count
    • Flashing alert precisely at 2:00 min for heightened urgency
    • Auto‑reset at 4:00 min eliminates manual interaction between calls
  • Installation & enclosure highlights
    • NEMA 4X version: corrosion‑resistant, gasket‑sealed, supplied with a blank cable gland and a 9 ft / 1 A outdoor‑rated 120 V power cord
    • Standard aluminum version: lightweight, four rear knockouts align with 4 × 4 electrical boxes; side or back ½‑in conduit entries via terminal blocks
    • Both units link easily via low‑voltage two‑conductor cable when multiple displays are needed in a single bay

During demonstration we powered both timers from a 12 V battery through a momentary push‑button. As soon as the button closed, the counters lit up, giving crews a crystal‑clear view of elapsed time. At the two‑minute flash, urgency ramps up; at four minutes the display wipes clean, letting firefighters know exactly where they stand before the next run.

Whether you need the extra protection of NEMA 4X or the streamlined profile of aluminum, the DC‑25T‑UP‑TERM integrates seamlessly into existing alert systems and keeps your team moving—fast. If you have questions about wiring, conduit entry, or custom firmware intervals, reach out in the comments. We’re always ready to help you shave precious seconds off the response clock.
