DC-Digital was recently contracted by Lowes to supply all of the time keeping displays for several of their distribution centers. This unit represents a perfect blend of rugged construction, long-distance wireless connectivity, and advanced scheduling integration—ideal for high-visibility applications like warehouses, manufacturing plants, and distribution centers. In fact, this particular model is headed into service at a Lowe’s distribution center.

This distribution center wireless system clock synchronizes to the EZ-Time computer program, which operates on a Windows 10 system. EZ-Time provides both accurate time synchronization and bell ringing control through a virtual COM port setup over the network, ensuring centralized, reliable control of all connected system clocks.

Product Design and Build Quality

The DC-150-W-SYSTEM-IN features a 15-inch high digit display, ensuring visibility up to approximately 750 feet in open indoor environments. Built with durability in mind, the unit includes:

  • All-aluminum extruded enclosure
  • Aluminum face and back plates for full ruggedization
  • Standard 120-volt power input with a six-foot cord
  • Cable gland connection for secure installation

This makes the unit well-suited for demanding environments where durability and readability are essential.

Equipped with a 900 MHz wireless antenna, the DC-150-W-SYSTEM-IN offers:

  • Indoor range: Approx. 300 feet, depending on walls, doors, and other barriers
  • Outdoor range: Up to 1,500 feet, under ideal conditions
  • 250-milliwatt radio transmitter for strong, stable signal communication

This range ensures that even in complex indoor layouts like warehouses or distribution centers, time synchronization can be achieved without compromise.

The DC-150-W-SYSTEM-IN isn’t just a clock—it’s a complete wireless system clock, fully integrated with our EZ-Time scheduling software. Here’s how it works:

The clock connects to a serial input transmitter that includes a 900 MHz radio, offering:

  • Enables a chain of synchronized clocks across large facilities, as long as each one is within range of the next
