How It Works
To demonstrate the system, Liz from our team walks through the keypad operation. The keypad includes:
- Numbers 0–9,
- A Set button
- An Enter button
Setting a Number:
- Press the Set button once – the display begins to flash.
- Input the number you want to display.
- Press Enter, and the number will be shown on the display.
If you’re only inputting a single-digit number, just press the number and then Enter. The system is also flexible regarding leading zeros — these can be removed upon request depending on your operational preferences.
The keypad indicator features a small blue light to show it’s powered and operating correctly. Once powered, it’s ready to pair with your display unit right out of the box.
Power and Mounting
- Display Power: Connects via a three-prong outdoor-rated plug with a six-foot lead
- Keypad Power: Operates on 5V using a compact wall wart adapter
- Mounting: Two rear mounting tabs slide in an adjustable channel on the back, providing easy, flexible mounting on walls or frames
