The DC-80UTW-BTC-W features a wired Outdoor Trumpet Horn that blasts a clear, unmistakable 122 dB alert once the timer reaches zero — ensuring no one misses the moment, whether you’re running a race, timing an athletic drill, or managing a field event. The horn is connected via a durable 10-foot, 12-gauge wire, giving flexibility in setup and optimal placement.

Designed for mobility and convenience, this system includes two custom tripods: one for the digital timer unit and one for the horn. Each tripod includes a sturdy stand, base, handle, and mounting hardware, allowing quick and stable setup on grass, pavement, or dirt. The horn and timer are securely mounted using included brackets, keeping everything elevated and visible.

Once set up, users simply power on the unit with a physical on/off switch, and then use our WRC-8T wireless remote controller to access countdown mode. With a wireless range of up to 1500 feet outdoors and 300 feet indoors, the controller gives full remote access to all functions without the need to be physically near the timer.

The DC-80UTW-BTC-W supports three operating modes:

• Time of Day Display (in 12-hour format)
• Count Up (to 99 hours, 59 minutes, and 59 seconds)
• Countdown (from 99 hours, 59 minutes, and 59 seconds)

Once the countdown timer hits zero, the 122 dB horn automatically sounds, making it ideal for marking start and stop times in dynamic, noisy outdoor settings.

For protection and transport, the system comes with a hard-shell carrying case, specially designed for the DC-80 model to ensure safe handling between events.
