Nielson Communications Inc. has reached out to DC-Digital for a custom countdown timer in order alert firefighters into getting ready to respond to emergency calls. The DC-40T-UP-BCD-NEMA is a robust count-up timer designed for durability and ease of use. Users can set the desired time using BCD rotary switches inside the polycarbonate enclosure, which is IP-66 rated and UL flammability rated for protection against liquid solutions. Once activated by a user-supplied push button switch, the timer counts up from zero to the preset limit of 99 minutes and 59 seconds. Its four-inch red LED digits provide clear visibility from up to 200 feet away, making it ideal for various applications. The timer is powered by a 9-foot, grounded power cord compatible with 120-240 VAC, ensuring flexible installation options.
