The DC-406N-POE model is engineered to operate entirely on the customer’s own network, allowing Rocket Pharmaceuticals to display the correct time based on their specific time zone requirements. Using a simple plug-and-play Power over Ethernet (POE) connection, the clock receives both power and network communication through a single Ethernet cable. This streamlined connection allows the clock to synchronize seamlessly using NTP, DHCP, or a Static IP configuration already present on the facility’s network.
Configuration and management are handled through the onboard web-based interface, accessible directly from any browser on the network. From this interface, users can easily manage all time-related settings, including time synchronization sources, time zones, and display formats. For example, the clock can be switched from a 12-hour format to a 24-hour format in just a few steps. By navigating to the configuration settings, users can select their preferred hour format, confirm the active NTP server, and apply changes instantly. With six digits, the clock can display time in either 12-hour or 24-hour format, ensuring compatibility with various operational standards and preferences.
