This up timer operates through a set of environmentally sealed push-button controls, ensuring reliable performance even in harsh or moisture-prone areas — a key consideration in food and dairy processing. On the right side of the enclosure, you’ll find three durable push buttons, each assigned a distinct operational function:

• Start/Stop – initiates or halts the timing process.
• Reset to Zero – clears the display once the timer is stopped.
• Reset and Start – resets the display and immediately restarts the timing sequence.

These three controls make it simple and intuitive for operators to manage the timing process with precision and efficiency.

The DC-60T-DN-BCD employs our shift digit technology, which dynamically adjusts the display as time progresses. You’ll see the seconds count upward — for example, from 59 seconds to 1 minute and 59 seconds — automatically transitioning through hours, minutes, and seconds. The display continues incrementing all the way up to its maximum reading of 99 hours, 59 minutes, and 59 seconds. This allows for extended timing operations, perfect for long-duration production or testing applications.

During operation, pressing the Start/Stop button begins the count-up process, with the time incrementing until manually stopped. The Reset to Zero button clears the time reading but only functions once the timer has been stopped — preventing accidental resets during an active timing cycle. Finally, the Reset and Start button both clears and restarts the timing sequence instantly, ideal for quick, repeated cycle testing or production intervals.

From a hardware perspective, this timer is built for industrial resilience. It features a NEMA 4-rated polycarbonate enclosure, which is air-sealed, waterproof, and UL flame-rated for dependable protection against environmental elements. The display consists of 4-inch high-brightness LED digits, easily viewable from distances up to 200 feet, ensuring visibility across production areas.
