DC-Digital has been working with Paradise Locker Meats in creating a clock that would be protected from the wet and oily elements of a their factory. Introducing our latest custom-built solution: the DC-40N-WIFI-NEMA, a fully network-synchronized time display system designed specifically for environments requiring both durability and connectivity—such as aquatic parks and industrial facilities.

This model is engineered for precision, reliability, and ease of use, making it an ideal solution for facilities that need to keep exact time with minimal effort and maximum visibility.

Seamless Network Integration

The DC-40N-WIFI-NEMA automatically synchronizes to any NTP (Network Time Protocol) server over a WiFi connection. Setup is streamlined through the unit’s onboard web page interface, which gives users complete control over:

  • DHCP or Static IP selection
  • 12 or 24-hour clock format
  • NTP server configuration

Users simply plug in the device using the included 3-prong grounded power connector. Upon powering up, the unit can be discovered using a custom identification number, unique to each model. A custom passkey is entered to establish a secure connection.

From there, the user completes setup by accessing the device through a web browser of their choice—Chrome, Firefox, Yahoo, or others. Once connected, the unit begins displaying the time of day synced precisely to the chosen NTP server.

High Visibility and Durability

One of the standout features of the DC-40N-WIFI-NEMA is its robust and highly visible display, crafted with demanding environments in mind.

  • 4-inch tall digits viewable from up to 200 feet away
  • Clear time display in either 12 or 24-hour format
  • Ideal for open-air, humid, or wet environments like aquatic parks

The enclosure housing the display is made of polycarbonate with exceptional protective ratings:

  • NEMA 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12, 12K
  • IP66 waterproof and airtight
  • UL94 VO flammability rating for added safety

This rugged build ensures protection from water, chemicals, corrosion, dust, and other extreme elements, making it perfect for long-term outdoor or industrial installations.

Advanced Wireless Capability

The DC-40N-WIFI-NEMA uses a dual-band wireless adapter supporting both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz networks. It’s compatible with standard WiFi protocols including:

  • 802.11 b/g/n
  • AP, Gateway, and Router modes
  • Advanced encryption: WPA2-PSK, WPA-PSK, and WEP

This guarantees a reliable and secure connection regardless of the surrounding infrastructure.
