The DC-802-Static-Key-W is a wireless static number display system designed for efficiency, durability, and ease of use in industrial and outdoor environments.

This particular unit is built for applications where simple number communication is critical, and it’s done without relying on icons or visual confirmation from a computer screen. Whether you’re tracking production counts, shift numbers, dock bays, or any numeric indicator, this system is designed to display it clearly, wirelessly, and reliably.

Overview of the DC-802-Static-Key-W

The DC-802-Static-Key-W is a wireless static display that operates on 900 MHz RF communication, with a keypad-based control. What makes it especially useful is the ability to update the number remotely, up to 1500 feet away, without having to physically see the display while entering the information.

  • 8-inch, 2-digit LED display for excellent visibility in both indoor and outdoor settings
  • Aluminum all-weather enclosure, rated for outdoor use
  • Wireless range of approximately 1500 feet using 900 MHz RF
  • Simple keypad interface allows direct number entry without needing a screen or extra equipment
  • Mounting tabs on the back that are adjustable for flexible installation
  • Plug-and-play design: Display includes a three-prong plug with a 6-foot cord
  • Keypad runs on 5 volts using a standard wall adapter

How It Works

To demonstrate the system, Liz from our team walks through the keypad operation. The keypad includes:

  • Numbers 0–9,
  • A Set button
  • An Enter button

Setting a Number:

  1. Press the Set button once – the display begins to flash.
  2. Input the number you want to display.
  3. Press Enter, and the number will be shown on the display.

If you’re only inputting a single-digit number, just press the number and then Enter. The system is also flexible regarding leading zeros — these can be removed upon request depending on your operational preferences.

The keypad indicator features a small blue light to show it’s powered and operating correctly. Once powered, it’s ready to pair with your display unit right out of the box.

Power and Mounting

  • Display Power: Connects via a three-prong outdoor-rated plug with a six-foot lead
  • Keypad Power: Operates on 5V using a compact wall wart adapter
  • Mounting: Two rear mounting tabs slide in an adjustable channel on the back, providing easy, flexible mounting on walls or frames

Plug It In, Mount It, and Go

The DC-802-Static-Key-W is all about simplicity and function. There’s no need for Wi-Fi, computers, or extra setup tools. Once installed, you simply plug it in, input your number on the keypad, and the display updates wirelessly — no line of sight required.
