Sweetwater Union High School selected a custom DC-405T-DN-W-NEG digital countdown timer to help keep school meetings organized and ensure speakers stay within their allotted time.

The timer is designed to count down from a programmed amount of time. When the display reaches 00:00, it continues counting upward while displaying a negative sign, clearly indicating how far the speaker has gone beyond the allotted time. This provides an easy-to-see visual reference for both speakers and meeting participants.

The custom unit displays minutes and seconds and features four-inch, super-bright red LED digits. With a viewing distance of up to 200 feet, the timer is well suited for board rooms, meeting spaces, and other environments where the display needs to be visible from across the room.

The DC-405T-DN-W-NEG is controlled using a 2.4 GHz RF wireless handheld remote with functions for start/stop, reset to the last programmed value, reset to zero, and setting hours, minutes, and seconds. The timer also retains its last programmed value after power is removed, making it convenient for recurring meetings.

Housed in a durable black powder-coated aluminum enclosure, the timer measures approximately 24-1/2 inches wide by 7-3/4 inches tall and 2-3/8 inches deep. Its combination of wireless control, highly visible LED digits, and count-back capability makes it a practical solution for maintaining meeting schedules and managing speaker time.
