At Laguna Splash at DelGrosso’s Amusement Park, keeping guests informed is an important part of creating a smooth and enjoyable experience. When swimmers are waiting for the next attraction or preparing to get back into the water, one question is always on their minds: How much longer do we have to wait?

To provide a clear answer, Laguna Splash ordered a DC-Digital 15-inch outdoor countdown timer. The large, highly visible display gives swimmers an easy way to see exactly how much time remains before the next activity begins.

The countdown timer is designed to count down from 99 minutes and 59 seconds, making it well suited for applications where guests need a simple, visual indication of remaining time. With 15-inch red LED digits and a viewing distance of up to 750 feet, the display can be easily seen across large outdoor areas.

Built for outdoor environments, the timer features an IP-66-rated extruded aluminum enclosure with a durable black powder-coated finish. The sunlight-resistant red LEDs provide visibility in bright outdoor conditions, making the display well suited for a busy water park environment.

The timer can also be activated using either a momentary contact closure or a 5–30 VDC/PNP source pulse, providing flexible control options for integrating the countdown into an existing attraction or operational system. Individual rotary set switches mounted on the bottom of the enclosure allow the countdown time to be configured using DC-Digital’s Set N Forget approach.

When the countdown reaches 00:00, the display can flash to clearly indicate that the waiting period has ended. Optional end-of-period features can also include flashing overage time, an ANDON light, tone, or relay outputs.
