The NBA purchases (20) DC-25T-Dn Custom Countdown Timer custom countdown timers to facilitate critical playoff game calls. The referees would use this specific timer during a playoff game in order to quickly and effectively make a decision on a questionable call. They would start the timer as soon as the review is switched to the sideline monitors and at that time the timers would countdown from 2:00 minutes. At the end of the two minutes the referees would of course have a the final decision. The timer is housed in a custom enclosure and adapted to convenient sideline accessibility.
