The quality products that are made by DC-Digital have a variety of uses. Take Sierra Products for example. Sierra Products is a manufacturer representative for Process Technology, who provides wet process heating and cooling, among many other things. Process Technology provided an acid bath system to Honeywell. You may be familiar with Honeywell as they make common household items such as humidifiers, electronics, and even heating and air conditioning units. However, Process Technology did not provide a timer to time the acid bath. That is where DC-Digital comes in. Sierra Products contacted us in an attempt to fulfill their customer’s need.

The timer we provided was a DC-10T-DN. This means that it is a countdown timer. The timer is set to a specific time and when the operator presses the start button, it counts down from that point.  The DC-10 has a one inch digit display but the clock with the case is about 4 inches high. It is also equipped with a relay module, which allows data to be outputted to tell a machine to turn off or on. This way, when the timer reaches zero, the operator knows that the acid bath is finished and they can safely remove the part. Because this timer is continually in contact with a corrosive material, we gave it sealed button controls, a polycarbonate enclosure and a transparent smoked lens for maximum viewability while still being safe from corrosion.
