Chick-fil-A’s Peach Bowl Booth: Tossing Footballs to Feed the Community

Counters

At the Peach Bowl’s Chick-fil-A Feed the Communities booth, fun and philanthropy collide in a truly unique way. This interactive experience allows participants to toss small footballs through designated “black cow spots” on a display panel. But each toss is more than just a fun challenge—it’s a way to contribute to local communities in need.

How It Works: Tossing Footballs to Provide Meals

The concept is simple yet impactful: participants toss footballs through one of four black cow spots on the panel. Each black cow spot represents a different number of meals that will be donated by Chick-fil-A to one of two communities being supported. The four spots are color-coded to represent different donation amounts—2, 3, 4, or 5 meals per successful toss.

For example, if a football is tossed through the black spot representing 3 meals, then 3 meals are pledged to the selected community. Each toss directly contributes to the meal totals, with every successful shot increasing the number of meals provided to those in need. The more footballs participants toss through the spots, the more meals are donated!

Tracking the Impact: Real-Time Meal Totals

As the game unfolds, participants can watch their impact in real-time. Two community counters—one for each community receiving the meals—automatically update with every successful toss. The counters total up the number of meals donated to each community, and this information is displayed on a master counter located at the center of the booth.

The master counter provides a running total of the meal donations, giving everyone a clear view of how many meals have been pledged to each community throughout the event. The totals from the two community counters are wirelessly transmitted to the master display, making the process seamless and efficient.

The Power of Wireless Technology

Thanks to advanced wireless technology, the entire system operates smoothly without the need for physical connections between the counters and the master display. The meal totals are sent back to the master counter in real-time, ensuring that participants can see the immediate impact of their actions. The wireless system makes the entire experience more dynamic and interactive, keeping the energy high as the meal donations continue to grow.

A Fun Way to Give Back

The Chick-fil-A Feed the Communities booth is a perfect blend of fun and generosity. As participants try their hand at tossing footballs through the black cow spots, they’re actively contributing to the well-being of others. The addition of the varying meal amounts (2, 3, 4, or 5 meals per toss) adds an extra layer of excitement to the game, as people try to hit their target spots and make the biggest impact.

At the end of the day, the Peach Bowl event isn’t just about football—it’s about community, charity, and the power of collective action. Every toss through a black cow spot represents a meaningful donation to those in need, with the totals automatically tallied and displayed for all to see. Thanks to Chick-fil-A’s innovative approach, participants can enjoy a fun challenge while helping to provide meals for two deserving communities.

Whether you’re a football fan or simply looking to make a positive difference, the Chick-fil-A Feed the Communities booth at the Peach Bowl is an opportunity to have fun, give back, and see firsthand how small actions can add up to big results.
