Fort Sill recently ordered a custom DC-806T-UP count-up timer for an upcoming shooting competition organized by the Fort Sill Directorate of Emergency Services. The timer was designed for precise timing applications similar to the system previously built for 3-Gun Nation.

The DC-806T-UP provides highly accurate timing by displaying hours, minutes, seconds, tenths, and hundredths. Its shift-digit technology allows the display to transition between time units while supporting timing up to 99:59:59:99.

For Fort Sill‘s competition application, the timer features environmentally sealed push-button controls for Start-Stop and Reset to Zero operation. A built-in Piezo buzzer provides an audible signal when the control buttons are pressed, helping operators clearly recognize timer activation during competition activities.

The timer features large 8-inch red LED digits with a viewing distance of up to 400 feet, making the elapsed time easy to see from across a competition area. The display is housed in a tough extruded aluminum IP66-rated outdoor enclosure with a black powder-coated finish designed for wet-location applications.

Fort Sill also ordered an optional tripod to provide a convenient freestanding mounting solution for the timer. The DC-806T-UP can also be configured for battery operation when an application requires greater portability or operation away from standard AC power.

With large, highly visible digits, precision hundredth-second timing, rugged outdoor construction, and simple start-stop controls, the DC-806T-UP provides a practical timing solution for shooting competitions and other events where accurate elapsed-time measurement is essential.
