The DC-ANDON-24 is a compact and highly visible stack light designed for applications where clear machine, process, or status indication is needed. This unit combines five user-selectable LED colors with a built-in audible buzzer, making it a practical signaling solution for industrial workstations, production areas, operator call systems, and equipment monitoring. With 360-degree visibility and simple wire-based activation, the DC-ANDON-24 is built to provide both visual and audible notification in a straightforward and dependable format.

This standard order model operates on 24 volts and can be powered by AC or DC, making it flexible for a wide range of installations. To apply power, the two brown wires are used for the 24-volt input. Once powered, the light functions are controlled through common-trigger wiring that allows the user to select either steady illumination or flashing operation. This makes the unit ideal for installations where different signal behaviors are needed depending on the event or operating condition.

For steady light operation, the DC-ANDON-24 uses a steady common. By applying a contact closure to the selected light wire and the proper common, the chosen LED color will remain lit. For flashing operation, the flashing common wire is used instead. In a typical demonstration, the grey wire serves as the flashing common, allowing the selected color to flash when contact closure is applied. This gives users an easy way to configure the signal output based on the desired alert condition.

The light includes white, red, blue, yellow, and green LEDs, giving operators the flexibility to assign colors based on machine state, call priority, process condition, or workflow step. The illumination is visible in a full 360-degree pattern, helping ensure the signal can be seen from multiple directions on the plant floor. This is especially useful in larger spaces or in environments where workers may approach equipment from different angles.

In addition to its visual signaling capabilities, the DC-ANDON-24 includes a built-in buzzer for audible notification. The buzzer is activated through contact closure between the two purple wires. This allows the audible alert to be used independently or alongside the light functions, depending on system requirements. The added sound output can be especially helpful in situations where immediate operator attention is needed or where visual signals alone may not be enough.

The unit also includes 4 feet of cabling for convenient installation, and its compact housing measures 4 inches high by 2 inches in diameter. For applications that require greater mounting height or increased visibility above surrounding equipment, accessories are available to stand the unit off up to 500 millimeters. This makes the DC-ANDON-24 adaptable to a variety of machine layouts and workstation configurations.
