NBC’s New Amsterdam Surgery Show Adds Visual Effects from DC-Digital

Computer controlled timer-static-display networkThe new NBC TV show New Amsterdam ordered SW-Code-Blue switches, DC-40N-T-DN-UP-Static display and 3980GT Timex wall clock for their TV set that involves the Operating room set. This DC-40N-T-DN-UP-Static display is a 4” 4 digit red LED network display it has a unique feature in the fact that it can be set by a computer through the network and it can be reset quickly without any external controls visible on the TV set. The customer needed this equipment shipped out over night and the DC-Digital manufacturing team rose to the challenge getting this equipment out on the same day as the order. New Amsterdam is using the equipment that was designed for the hospital environment to show elapse time for additional real life type experience. The TV show began shooting its new episodes on August 1, 2018.
