Every application has unique installation requirements, and sometimes a standard enclosure isn’t the best solution. DC-Digital recently fulfilled a custom order for a customer who wanted the core components of the DC-40 Up Timer without the factory housings, allowing the display system to be integrated into a completely custom-built installation.

Instead of receiving fully assembled timers, the customer purchased six DC-40 Up Timer display component kits. This approach provides maximum flexibility for fabricators, OEMs, and system integrators who prefer to mount and package the electronics within their own equipment or custom enclosures.

Each kit included everything needed to build a functional three-digit count-up timer, including:

• One DC-40 three-digit timer display board capable of counting up to 999
• Twelve pigtailed push-button connections for external controls
• One red display lens
• One ready-to-use 15 VDC power supply

By supplying the timer electronics as individual components, customers have complete freedom to design their own mounting solution while still benefiting from DC-Digital’s proven LED timer technology.

This type of customization is ideal for manufacturers, machine builders, research facilities, educational projects, industrial automation, and specialty equipment where standard enclosures may not fit the application.
