Clocks

Today we’re introducing a new custom-built solution: the DC-10N-CLK-59/12-RM-2 — a network-based time-of-day clock designed for facilities that need reliable, synchronized timekeeping and automated relay control. This model is equipped with advanced timing functions and multiple relays, all packaged in a durable, wall-mounted enclosure.

Key Features and Capabilities

  • Network Time Synchronization
Connects to your local network and syncs time either through a web interface or through Easy Time software.
  • Dual Zone Relays
Built-in relays that can be programmed to activate two separate systems or devices, such as bells, buzzers, or lights.
  • 59th-Minute Reset Relay
Automatically sends a signal just before the top of each hour — useful for synchronizing analog clocks or triggering events near the end of the hour.
  • 12-Hour Reset Relay
Sends a signal twice a day (typically at noon and midnight) to reset or align time-based systems.
  • Manual Control Buttons
On-unit buttons allow local triggering of relays without accessing the software interface.
  • Easy Configuration via Web Page
Set times and adjust settings using the familiar DC-Digital Easy Time Control Protocol through your browser.

How You Can Use It

The DC-10N-CLK-59/12-RM-2 is designed to be both flexible and easy to use, whether you’re running a school bell system, coordinating shift changes in a factory, or keeping a facility’s clocks aligned.

Here’s a look at how each major function might be used:

  • Time Synchronization
Simply connect the unit to your network, launch the setup page, and the clock will sync with your system or Easy Time. Once configured, it keeps time even if the network connection is interrupted.
  • Relay Control
Use the two zone relays to control different equipment on separate schedules. You can trigger them manually using the onboard buttons or automatically at set times.
  • Reset Relays
    • The 59th-minute relay is ideal for correcting analog clocks to the hour just before every new hour begins.
    • The 12-hour reset relay is great for applications where twice-daily synchronization is needed.
  • Web-Based Setup
Use the built-in web interface to configure time, set relay behavior, or switch between hourly and daily resets.

Additional Highlights

  • LED Display: 1-inch red segmented LEDs for clear visibility
  • Durable Enclosure: NEMA 4X rated with optional smoke lens
  • Power: Operates on 120VAC with a 6-foot power cord
  • Mounting: Includes four through-holes on the back for secure wall mounting
  • Customizable Wire Exits: Use either rear or side cable exits, with plugs provided
