Emmi Roth has incorporated DC-Digital’s DC-60N-POE-NEMA Network-Synchronized Time of Day Display into its facility to provide a clear, reliable way to view the current time using its own Ethernet network. By connecting the display to its existing network infrastructure, Emmi Roth can synchronize the displayed time with a designated Network Time Protocol (NTP) server, keeping an accurate time reference readily visible to employees throughout the facility.

The DC-60N-POE-NEMA is designed for industrial and commercial environments where dependable timekeeping and easy visibility are important. The display features four 6-inch red LED digits that provide excellent readability at distances up to 300 feet. Its sunlight-resistant LED technology and wide 110 x 40-degree viewing angle help make the time visible from different positions within the facility. Users can configure the display to show time in either a 12-hour or 24-hour format and select the appropriate time zone to meet their facility’s requirements.

One of the primary advantages of this system is its ability to synchronize directly with an NTP server selected by the customer through the built-in web page interface. For Emmi Roth, this allows the display to utilize its own network time source rather than relying on an independent clock or manually adjusted timekeeping system. Once connected through the Ethernet RJ-45 connection, the display receives its time synchronization data through the network, helping maintain consistent time across the facility.

The DC-60N-POE-NEMA also simplifies installation through Power over Ethernet Plus (PoE+). A single customer-provided Ethernet cable supplies both network communication and the required 30-watt power connection. Power and data are separated internally within the enclosure, eliminating the need to run a separate power cable to the display. This makes it easier to incorporate the clock into existing network infrastructure while maintaining a clean installation.

Built for demanding environments, the DC-60N-POE-NEMA features a heavy-duty, UV-stabilized polycarbonate enclosure with a 0.198-inch wall thickness. The enclosure carries NEMA 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12, 12K, and IP66 ratings, providing protection against dust, water, and other environmental conditions. Its rugged construction makes it suitable for industrial facilities where dependable operation and enclosure protection are important considerations.
