This timer has been engineered with practicality in mind, offering both a straightforward setup and durable construction, all of which are vital for any fire department facilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The unit is built to provide precise countdown functionality through any multi-input or plug-and-play device the user desires to integrate. At the core of this system is an <strong>opto base board<\/strong> that allows seamless connection of input controls, such as palm switches, push buttons, or other compatible devices. In our demonstration, a <strong>15 mm palm switch<\/strong> was connected to Terminal 1 of the opto board. Holding down the switch initiates the countdown, and when released, the timer resets to the preset value.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the top of the enclosure, <strong>BCD rotary switches<\/strong> allow users to set their desired countdown time in minutes and seconds. Adjusting these settings is simple\u2014requiring only a flathead screwdriver. For example, users can quickly configure the timer to count down from <strong>10 minutes and 35 seconds<\/strong>, or any other value up to the maximum capacity.
