The DC-Digital DC-256T-UP<\/a> Count Up Timer provides a highly visible way to monitor and communicate production downtime. B-Way Corporation<\/a> selected the DC-256T-UP as a visual reminder for production personnel, allowing the amount of downtime occurring during a particular shift to remain clearly visible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The DC-256T-UP<\/a> features six super-bright 2.3-inch red LED digits and provides a viewing distance of up to 120 feet. The timer counts up to 99 hours, 59 minutes, and 59 seconds, making it suitable for tracking extended production delays, equipment downtime, maintenance activities, and other time-based manufacturing processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For B-Way Corporation’s<\/a> application, the timer was configured with pigtail leads for dry-contact closure control. This provides Start, Stop, and Reset functions through an external control system. The DC-256T-UP<\/a> also offers flexible control options, including a 2.4 GHz RF wireless handheld controller with a range of up to 150 feet. An internal terminal block can accommodate multiple input types, while optional top-mounted push-buttons are available for applications requiring direct access to the timer controls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The DC-256T-UP<\/a> uses Shift Digit Technology to provide precise count-up operation in hours, minutes, and seconds, with tenths and hundredths available as applicable. Its rugged extruded aluminum enclosure features a fingerprint-resistant black powder-coated finish for durability in demanding industrial environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The timer operates from a PS-12-700 120\u2013240 VAC power wall adapter with a 6-foot cord. Two slotted teardrop mounting tabs provide convenient installation, with handle and tripod mounting options also available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
